This is a roll of double sided carpet tape. The core is a cloth base, and both faces carry adhesive. That build gives the tape a bit of body, so it lies flat and holds along its full length instead of stretching thin like paper tapes. The color is yellow, which makes it easy to spot when you are lining up a seam or checking coverage under a rug edge.
Each roll is 1.18 in (3 cm) wide and 16.4 ft (5 m) long. One roll is included in the box. The cloth base is meant for indoor use on floors, and it works on hard surfaces such as tile, wood, laminate and vinyl, as well as on low pile carpet.

One width and one length are offered, so you can cut the tape to the length each job needs. A 16.4 ft (5 m) roll covers a good stretch of rug edge, several small mats, or a few shorter strips under a runner.
Yellow is the only color for this tape. The bright tone stands out against most floors and rug backings, which helps when you are placing strips and want to see where the tape starts and stops. Once a rug or mat is pressed down over the tape, the yellow is hidden.
Start with a clean, dry floor. Wipe away dust, crumbs and any film that could keep the adhesive from gripping. Cut a strip of tape to the length you need. Peel the backing from one side and press that side firmly to the floor or to the back of the rug, depending on where you want the bond. Peel the second backing, then set the rug, runner or mat down and press along the edge with your hands or a soft brush.
For a runner, place strips near each corner and one or two along the long edges. For a small door mat, a strip along each short end is often enough. For a rug on low pile carpet, press the tape into the carpet fibers first, then set the rug on top and press down. Keep the tape away from damp areas and do not use it on wet floors.
To remove the tape, lift a corner of the rug and pull the tape up slowly. A little warmth from a hair dryer on a low setting can soften the adhesive if it feels stubborn. Wipe away any leftover residue with a cloth.
Store unused tape in a cool, dry place. Keep the roll wound and the cut end flat so the adhesive does not pick up dust. Heat and moisture can weaken the bond over time, so a cabinet or closet away from direct sun and damp air is a good spot. If you cut more tape than you need, save the extra piece for a later job.
This tape suits rugs, runners and mats that slide on hard floors. It also helps hold a rug in place on low pile carpet and keeps a door mat from creeping near an entry. Use it indoors on floors that are dry and clean. It is not meant for walls, fabrics you plan to wash often, or outdoor surfaces that stay wet.

Yes. Press the tape into the carpet fibers first, then set the rug on top and press down. It also works on hard floors like tile, wood, laminate and vinyl.
Keep it in a cool, dry place. Wind the roll and keep the cut end flat so the adhesive stays clean and ready for the next job.
