Grid Lock Double Sided Rug Tape is a transparent mesh filament tape with adhesive on both sides. The tape has a yellow release liner that peels away to expose the clear tape underneath. The surface is a grid mesh, and the tape is waterproof.
It is made for carpet, rug and slip-resistant fixing. The mesh grid lets the tape flex with the surface under it, so it sits flat under rug edges, mats and carpet seams.
Pick the width that matches the job. Wider tape covers more surface and holds more weight. Narrow tape fits tight corners and thin edges.

A short length suits a single small mat or a quick repair. A longer roll suits a full room of rug edges or several mats.
The tape is clear. The release liner is yellow. Once the liner is peeled off and the tape is pressed down, the clear mesh blends into the floor and the rug backing, so it stays out of sight.
For rug edges, run strips along the corners and along the long sides. For a small mat, a strip at each corner is often enough. For carpet seams, run a strip along the full seam and press both sides down.
The tape is waterproof, so it works in entryways, kitchens and other spots where spills happen. It is made for carpet, rug and slip-resistant fixing, which covers rugs on hard floors, mats on tile and carpet seams.
Wipe the surface clean before applying, and keep the area dry while you press the tape down. To remove the tape, lift a corner and pull it back slowly. A little adhesive residue may stay on the surface. Wipe it with a cloth and a small amount of warm water.
Store unused tape in a dry place. Keep the release liner on the roll so the adhesive stays clean until you are ready to use it.
Use it under area rugs on wood, tile, laminate and vinyl. Use it under door mats that slide when you walk in. Use it along carpet seams and on carpet edges that curl. The clear mesh keeps the fix low profile, and the grid surface helps the tape hold without adding bulk under the rug.
If you are not sure which width to choose, measure the edge you want to fix. A 0.4 in (1 cm) or 0.8 in (2 cm) width suits thin edges and small mats. A 1.2 in (3 cm), 1.6 in (4 cm) or 2 in (5 cm) width suits larger rugs and heavier traffic areas.
Yes. It is made for carpet, rug and slip-resistant fixing. Wipe the floor clean and dry before you apply it, then press the rug down firmly.
Narrow widths like 0.4 in (1 cm) and 0.8 in (2 cm) suit thin edges and small mats. Wider widths like 1.2 in (3 cm), 1.6 in (4 cm) and 2 in (5 cm) suit larger rugs and busy areas.
