What this tape is

This is a photoluminescent self-adhesive strip. It charges in light and glows green in the dark, so steps and exit paths stay visible when lighting is low. The flat profile lies flush against the step surface and works as a warning strip. Use it on stairs, emergency exit markers and warning strips indoors and outdoors.

Color and finish

How to apply it

1. Clean the step or surface. Remove dust, grease and loose material.
2. Let the surface dry fully.
3. Cut the tape to length with scissors or a utility knife.
4. Peel the backing and press the tape down firmly along the step edge or marker line.
5. Rub along the full length to set the adhesive.

For a straight line, mark the edge first. For outdoor steps, apply in dry conditions. The flat profile sits on top of the step surface, so no groove or channel is needed.

Care

Wipe the tape clean with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could dull the photoluminescent surface. Keep the strip free of dirt so it can charge in light and glow clearly in the dark.

This is a single-piece roll in the width you choose. It is not a stair runner or a mat. It is a surface tape for marking and visibility. If you need coverage across a full step, measure the step width and cut the roll to fit. One 16.5 ft (5 m) roll covers several steps at a typical tread width.
