This is a roll of black anti-slip grip tape with an adhesive backing. The top face has a textured non-slip surface that gives shoes and bare feet something to grip. The tape is made for stairs and floors, and it works indoors and outdoors.
Each roll is 16.4 ft (5 m) long. You pick the width when you order: 1 in (2.5 cm) or 2 in (5 cm). One roll is in the box.
| Width | Length | Color |
|---|---|---|
| 1 in (2.5 cm) | 16.4 ft (5 m) | Black |
| 2 in (5 cm) | 16.4 ft (5 m) | Black |
Both widths come in black only. The 1 in (2.5 cm) width suits narrow step edges and small floor spots. The 2 in (5 cm) width covers more of the step and suits wider treads and busier areas.
Use this tape on steps and floor areas that need a non-slip strip.
Common spots:
Because the tape is made for indoor and outdoor use, it holds up on steps that see rain, sun or cold. The black color blends with dark treads and reads as a clear safety strip on light ones.
For stairs, place the strip near the front edge of the tread, where feet land first. Leave a small margin at each side so the tape does not hang over. On a long run of steps, cut one strip per tread and keep the spacing even.
For floor areas, mark the zone you want to cover, cut the tape to fit and press it down. A 2 in (5 cm) strip works well along a doorway or in front of a work bench.
Let the tape settle before heavy use. Press it again after the first day if any edge lifts.
Wipe the tape clean with a damp cloth. For mud or grit, wipe along the strip and let it air dry. Do not scrub with a stiff brush or use harsh cleaners, since both can wear down the textured surface.
Check the edges now and then. If a corner lifts, press it back down while the surface is dry. Replace the strip when the texture flattens and grip drops.
The textured surface gives traction without adding bulk. The adhesive backing means no nails, screws or tools. You cut it to the length you need, so one roll covers several steps or a mix of small spots.
Black keeps the strip low-key on dark stairs and clear on light ones. The same roll works inside the house and out on the porch, so you can handle a few projects without buying different products for each one.
Each roll is 16.4 ft (5 m) long. That is enough for several stair treads or a few short floor strips, depending on how you cut it.
Yes. It is made for stairs and floors, indoors and outdoors. Clean and dry the surface first so the adhesive bonds well.
You can pick 1 in (2.5 cm) or 2 in (5 cm). Both come in black and in the same 16.4 ft (5 m) length.
Wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Let it air dry, and avoid stiff brushes or harsh cleaners that can wear down the textured surface.
