Glow Grip Stair Tape is a roll of anti-slip tape made with an abrasive high-friction surface and an adhesive backing. The black tape has a glow-in-the-dark stripe that runs along its length, so the edge of each step stays visible in low light.
It is built for stair steps indoors and outdoors. Use it on bare wood, painted steps, concrete, or metal. The abrasive top gives shoes and bare feet more grip than a smooth stair surface alone.
This listing is for the tape only. Each order includes 1 roll of tape.
There is one size and one color for this tape. The options below are the ones you pick at checkout.
| Option | Value |
|---|---|
| Width | 2 in (5 cm) |
| Length | 16.4 ft (5 m) |
| Color | Black with a glow-in-the-dark stripe |
One roll covers 16.4 ft (5 m) of step edge when applied as a single strip. Measure the width of your steps and the number of steps before you order so you know how many rolls you need.
Stair nosing and anti-slip tape both work at the front edge of a step, where feet land first. This tape is made for that same spot.
The glow-in-the-dark stripe helps in dim areas such as a basement stairwell or an unlit porch. Charge it with normal room or daylight, then it glows after the lights go out.
For outdoor steps, apply the tape in dry weather and give it time to bond before heavy use. If a step has a rounded or very uneven edge, press the tape down in small sections so it follows the shape.
Wipe the tape with a damp cloth or a mild household cleaner when it looks dirty. A clean abrasive surface keeps its grip. Avoid oil-based cleaners and wax, which can leave a slippery film on the tape.
Check the edges of the tape now and then. If a corner lifts, press it back down. Replace the strip when the abrasive surface wears smooth or the glow stripe no longer shows.
This tape is a simple way to add grip to the steps you use every day. Measure your steps, pick your roll count, and apply it to a clean, dry surface for the best hold.
The tape is 2 in (5 cm) wide. That width fits the front edge of most standard stair steps.
Each roll is 16.4 ft (5 m) long. One roll covers about 16.4 ft (5 m) of step edge when applied as a single strip.
Yes. It is made for stair steps indoors and outdoors, including porch, deck, and garage steps. Apply it to a clean, dry surface.
The black tape has a glow-in-the-dark stripe that charges in normal light and glows in the dark. It helps mark the step edge in dim areas.
