Gripweave Adhesive Rubber Furniture Tape is a roll of rubber foam with a peel-and-stick backing. The top face has a textured non-slip grid pattern that holds onto hard floors and keeps furniture from sliding. The foam adds a soft layer between the leg and the floor, so chairs and tables glide less and sit quieter.
It is made for furniture legs on chairs, tables and sofas. Use it on wood, laminate, tile and other hard surfaces where you want a cushion and a grip in one step. The black color blends in under most furniture.
Pick the width that matches your furniture leg. Each roll is 6.56 ft (2 m) long and 0.23 in (6 mm) thick, so you can cut several pads from one roll.
| Width | Best for |
|---|---|
| 2.5 in (6.4 cm) | Wide sofa and table legs, large flat bases |
| 1.5 in (3.8 cm) | Standard chair and stool legs |
| 1 in (2.5 cm) | Slim legs, small feet, touch-up spots |
One roll is in the box. Choose your width before you add it to your cart.
For a round leg, cut a square piece and trim the corners so it follows the shape. For a flat rectangular base, cut a strip to match. If a leg is uneven, add a second layer of tape to level it out.
Use it on dining chairs, kitchen stools, side tables, coffee tables and sofa legs. It suits hard floors such as hardwood, laminate, vinyl and tile. The rubber foam grip helps keep furniture in place when you sit down or stand up, and the foam layer softens the contact between leg and floor.
This tape is not a felt pad. Felt glides; rubber grips. If you want furniture to slide easily, choose a felt pad. If you want it to stay put, this rubber tape is the better fit.
Wipe the tape with a damp cloth when it picks up dust or hair. Let it air dry. Check the pads every few months and replace any piece that has worn thin or lost its grip. To remove the tape, peel it back slowly from one corner. If any adhesive stays behind, wipe it with a little rubbing alcohol.
Store the unused roll flat in a cool, dry place. Keep the backing paper on the part you have not used yet so it stays ready for the next project.
Yes. The textured rubber foam face grips hard floors and helps hold chairs, tables and sofas in place. It works on hardwood, laminate, vinyl and tile.
It depends on the width you choose and the size of your furniture legs. Each roll is 6.56 ft (2 m) long, so most shoppers cut enough pads for several chairs from a single roll.
Yes. Cut a square piece, peel the backing, press it on, then trim the corners to follow the curve of the leg. Scissors work fine.
No. Felt pads help furniture slide. This tape is rubber foam with a non-slip grid, so it grips the floor and helps furniture stay in place.
