FlexiFit chair leg floor protectors are small caps that slip over the bottom of a chair leg. Each one pairs a flexible silicone shell with a felt base. The silicone grips the leg and holds the cap in place. The felt base sits against the floor and lets the chair glide without scraping.
This two part design is what separates them from plain felt furniture pads. Felt pads can slide off or wear thin. The silicone cap keeps the felt where it belongs, right under the leg. The result is quieter movement and less chance of marks on wood, tile, laminate or vinyl.
They are made for round chair legs. If your chairs have square or angled legs, measure first and check the shape before you order.
Three sizes cover round legs from 1/2-2 in (13-50 mm) in diameter. Measure the diameter of the leg at the very bottom, where it meets the floor. If the leg tapers, measure the widest point near the base.
| Size | Fits leg diameter |
|---|---|
| X-Small | 1/2-15/16 in (13-23 mm) |
| Small | 15/16-1 5/16 in (23-33 mm) |
| Large | 1 5/16-2 in (33-50 mm) |
A quick way to check: wrap a strip of paper around the leg, mark where it overlaps, and measure that length. That gives you the circumference. Divide by 3.14 to get the diameter. Compare it to the table above and pick the size that contains your number.
If your measurement lands right at the edge between two sizes, the smaller size usually gives a snugger hold on a straight leg. On a leg that widens toward the floor, size up instead.
You pick two things at checkout: color and pack count.
Both colors come in packs of 24 or 36 protectors. Count your chair legs before you choose. A set of four dining chairs needs 16 protectors. Six chairs need 24. A pack of 36 covers nine chairs, or gives you spares for a bench, a stool or a side table with round legs.
Fitting takes a minute per leg and no tools.
If a cap feels loose, you likely have the wrong size. If it will not go on at all, size up. Once fitted, the protectors stay on through normal use, including sliding the chair in and out from a table.
Use them on dining chairs, kitchen chairs, bar stools, folding chairs and side tables with round legs. They suit hard floors such as hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl and concrete. On carpet, the felt base still helps the chair move, though the noise benefit is smaller.
Check the protectors every few months. If the felt base looks flattened or worn, swap in a fresh set from your pack. Keeping the floor free of grit also helps the felt last longer.
Wipe the silicone cap with a damp cloth when it looks dusty. Do not soak the felt base or run the protectors through a washing machine. Let them air dry if they get wet. Replace any protector that has torn silicone or a worn through felt base.
They fit round legs from 1/2-2 in (13-50 mm) in diameter. Measure the bottom of the leg and match it to the X-Small, Small or Large range. Square or angled legs are not a match.
Six chairs with four legs each need 24 protectors. A pack of 24 covers exactly that, and a pack of 36 leaves you 12 spares.
Yes. The silicone cap grips the leg while the felt base slides along the floor. That keeps the protector in place during normal use.
Yes. The felt base is made for hard floors, including tile, laminate, vinyl and hardwood. It reduces scraping and helps prevent scratches.
