FlexiFit Silicone Chair Leg Protectors are caps that slip over the bottom of your chair legs. The outer shell is flexible silicone, and the base is felt. Together they create a soft barrier between the leg and your hardwood floor.
The silicone grips the leg and stays in place as the chair moves. The felt bottom slides quietly across the floor instead of scraping it. This simple combination helps prevent scratches, scuffs and the dull marks that come from everyday use at the table.
Each pack includes 24 protectors, enough for six chairs with four legs each. They are made for hardwood floors and suit dining chairs, kitchen chairs, stools and other furniture with round or square legs.
These protectors come in three sizes. Pick the size that matches your leg shape and measurements.
| Size | Round legs | Square legs |
|---|---|---|
| Small | 0.5 to 1.6 in (14 to 40 mm) diameter | 0.4 to 1.2 in (10 to 30 mm) long |
| Medium | 0.5 to 1.6 in (14 to 40 mm) diameter | 0.4 to 1.2 in (10 to 30 mm) long |
| Large | 0.5 to 1.6 in (14 to 40 mm) diameter | 0.4 to 1.2 in (10 to 30 mm) long |
Measure the width of a round leg across its base, or the length of one side on a square leg. If your leg sits near the edge of a range, choose the next size up for a snug hold. The silicone stretches a little, so it can adapt to slight differences between legs.
You can order these protectors in two colors.
Transparent blends in with most furniture and lets the natural leg color show through. It is a good choice when you want the protection to stay out of sight.
Black adds a clean, defined look and pairs well with dark wood, metal and black furniture legs. Both colors use the same silicone and felt construction.
A snug fit matters. If a cap feels loose, try the next size up. If it bunches at the top, try the next size down. For square legs, line up the corners of the cap with the corners of the leg before pressing it on.
These protectors work on hardwood floors and help reduce noise when chairs slide in and out. They are not a replacement for lifting heavy furniture, so use care when moving larger pieces.
Wipe the silicone and felt with a damp cloth to remove dust and crumbs. Let them air dry before placing the chair back down. Check the felt bottoms now and then, and replace any cap that looks worn so your floor stays protected.
