How to Fit Them

1. Clean the step. Remove dust, grit and any grease.
2. Let the step dry fully.
3. Peel the backing film off the mat.
4. Center the mat on the step, close to the front edge.
5. Press down firmly across the whole surface, especially the edges.

Work one step at a time. If you need to move a mat, peel it up slowly and press it down again on a clean, dry spot. For a full staircase, count your steps first so you know how many mats you need.

Care

Hand wash these mats. Use cool water and a mild soap, then rinse well. Press them flat to dry and let them air dry fully before you put them back on the stairs. Do not machine wash or machine dry. Skip bleach and harsh cleaners, since they can dull the soft surface and weaken the backing.

For quick touch-ups between washes, wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Loose dust and pet hair come off with a light brush or a vacuum hose on a low setting.
