The design follows an airport runway theme, with markings and lights printed across a black base or in camouflage, green and gray variations. It suits living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms and hallways, and it works as a decorative accent in a kitchen or entryway.

A runner should run along the length of the space, not across it. In a hallway, center the rug and keep a few inches of bare floor on each side. In a kitchen, place it where you stand most, such as in front of the sink or stove.

How to use it

Unroll the rug and let it settle for a day or two before placing furniture on it. The PVC backing grips most hard floors, but on smooth surfaces you can add a rug pad for extra hold. Keep the edges flat so no one trips.

This rug is made for indoor use. It works in a living room, bedroom, bathroom or hallway. In a bathroom, place it away from direct splashes and dry it fully if it gets wet. In a hallway, a runner this length covers the main walking path and protects the floor beneath.

Care and washing

Hand wash or machine wash the rug, following the care label. Use cold or lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Do not bleach. After washing, lay it flat or hang it to dry completely before putting it back on the floor. Shake out loose dirt between washes, and vacuum the flocked pile on a low setting to keep it fresh.
